SENSEX ENDS 276 PTS HIGHER, NIFTY ABOVE 9,850

Sensex and Nifty ended higher by nearly one per cent owing to heavy buying in realty, metal, banking and PSU stocks amid mixed global cues. Sensex closed higher by 276. points or 0.88 per cent at 31,568. index ended up by 86 points or 0.89 per cent higher at 9,852. Both the indexes recorded gains for a second straight session. Indiabulls Real Estate closed up by 6.47% , DLF closed higher by 5.31% at Rs 184.6 and HDIL closed higher by 3.11% at Rs 61. Fortis Healthcare Ltd rose as much as 7.3 per cent. GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian stocks steadied on Wednesday, taking a breather after the previous day's surge and unable to keep up with a global rally spurred by gains for tech shares on Wall Street and miners in Europe.MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan , which initially inched up to a two-week high, pulled back to stand little changed following a 0.7 per cent rally on Tuesday.

SENSEX ENDS FLAT, NIFTY BELOW 9,800

The Sensex and Nifty edged up in lackluster trade on Tuesday, but markets remained range-bound as investors kept to the sidelines in the absence of clear triggers. The indices ended flat in a volatile trading session on Tuesday as investors kept to the sidelines in the absence of clear triggers ahead of the Jackson Hole gathering of central bankers later this week. Sensex was up 45. points or 0.15 per cent at 31,304. and Nifty was up 18.7 points or 0.19 per cent at 9,773. HCL Infosystems Ltd rose 18.1 per cent after signing an agreement with Apple India Pvt Ltd for distribution of iPhones and other Apple products in India.
GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian shares edged higher on Tuesday, taking solace from modest gains on Wall Street even as investors remained wary ahead of the annual central banking conference in Jackson Hole later this week.MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan edged up 0.1 per cent. South Korean shares added 0.5 per cent, despite lingering worries about tensions on the Korean peninsula.

Sensex down 200 pts, Nifty slips below 9800

The markets were scuttling between gains and losses as global cues remained mixed after investors felt unconvinced about US President Donald Trump's ability to fulfill his economic agenda, even as the departure of his controversial policy strategist raised hopes of some progress. Sensex was down 257 points or 0.82 per cent at 31,267. and Nifty was down 70. points or 0.72 per cent at 9,766. Sensex plunged over 250 points at the pre-close trade as world stocks struggled at a 5-1/2-week low.
GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian shares were fragile on Monday as investors remained unconvinced about US President Donald Trump's ability to fulfill his economic agenda, even as the departure of his controversial policy strategist raised hopes of some progress. Japan's Nikkei shed 0.4 per cent to hit a 3-1/2-month low, shrugging off a Reuters poll which showed confidence at Japanese manufacturers rose to its highest level in a decade in August.

KEEP AN EYE ON RAYMOND COMING WEEK

 “BUY RAYMOND at 778 TGT 795/815 SL 755”
The Sensex plunged 446 points to a low of 31,349. and the Nifty dropped 117 points to 9,787. The indices snapped a three-session long winning streak, as Infosys cracked after Vishal Sikka's resignation as MD & CEO, although rivals such as Tata Consultancy Services gained. Bharti Infratel, UltraTech Cements and BPCL are among the gainers, whereas Infosys, Sun Pharma and ZEE Entertainment Enterprises are losing .
GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian stock investors joined a global retreat from riskier assets on Friday and the dollar wavered on growing doubts about US President Donald Trump's ability to fulfill his economic agenda. MSCI's broadest index of Asia–Pacific shares outside Japan dropped 0.5 per cent in early trade, but still looked set to gain 1.4 per cent for the week after tensions between North Korea and the United States came off the boil. Japan's Nikkei slid 1.2 per cent as the Yen rose, and looked set to lose 1.3 per cent for the week.
